Why i am sunni muslim and not a wahabi/salafi

Why i am sunni muslim and not a wahabi/salafi : difference 1 – Belief about Allah (Subhanahu Ta'ala) Sunni – Sunnis believe that Allah (Subhanahu Ta'ala)  does not resemble anything. He does not have body, eyes, hands, legs or any other part of bodies. Further he exists without a place. Wahabi – Wahabis believe that Allah (Subhanahu Ta'ala) literally  has body, eyes, hands and legs. Further he is sitting on the Arsh.(Ma'az Allah) Difference 2 – Status of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) Sunni - Sunnis  love and show extra special care and respect towards the holy Prophet Muhammad   (Peace and blessings be upon him) Wahabi - Wahabis believe that holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) should be considered only as a common human being. They also disrespect prophet Muhammad   (Peace and blessings be upon him) Difference 3 – Madhhab (Jurisprudence schools of Islam) Sunni - Sunni Muslims accept the four imams of Fiqh or Islamic...

Was Prophet Muhammad SalAllho Alaihe Wasallam really a pedophile?

Was Prophet Muhammad SalAllho Alaihe Wasallam really a pedophile? There is no denying the fact that Prophet Muhammad salallho alaihe wasallam is the most cultured and well-behaved mortal who ever walked on the face of this earth. His words, knowledge and personality are incomparable to anyone. His kindness, love and affection guided humanity from the darkest valleys of ignorance and into the light of satisfaction and truthfulness. Although he was not educated from any school or any scholarly institution, still he was popular for his honesty and kindness that earned him the titles “Sadiq” and “Ameen”. But critics portrait some Islamic principles and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wasallam) in such a way that one may think that he was the biggest antisocial element who ever breathed in the soils of Arabia. These critics left no stone unturned to portrait Prophet Muhammad    (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wasallam)    as terrorist, criminal or worst of...

Why did Prophet Muhammad salAllah Alaihe wasallam married Aisha Radiallaho anha when she was 9 yrs old?

Why did Prophet Muhammad salAllah Alaihe wasallam married Aisha Radiallaho anha when she was 9 yrs old? Assalamo alaikum brothers and sisters, first of all objection on this marriage is itself illegal becuase there was nothing wrong in this marriage.Till 20th century,no one objected to this marriage. Now lets see what is age of marriage for a girl according to quran. Quran indicates at least on one place that there is definite age which can be termed as age of marriage: “Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then yefind sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up.” (Quran 4: 6 Abdullah Yusufali) The Muslim jurists agree that the ‘age of marriage’ mentioned here is age of puberty.Islamic scholar don’t give any specific age but agree that age of marriage can be different in different regions depending upon the age of puberty. Islamic Law regarding age of marriage : In Islam there i...

There is no compulsion in religion(Islam)

One of the fundamental truths established by the sacred texts is that no one can be compelled to accept Islam. It is the duty of Muslims to establish the proof of Islam to the people so that truth can be made clear from falsehood. After that, whoever wishes to accept Islam may do so and whoever wishes to continue upon unbelief may do so. No one should be threatened or harmed in any way if he does not wish to accept Islam. Among the many decisive pieces of evidence in this regard are the following.  God says: “Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error. Whoever rejects false worship and believes in God has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never breaks. And God hearsand knows all things.” (Quran 2:256) God says: “If it had been your Lord’s will, all of the people on Earth would have believed. Would you then compel the people so to have them believe?” (Quran 10:99) God says: “So if they dispute with you, say ‘I have submitted my whole self ...

The Simple Life of Muhammad (sal allaho alaihe wasallam)

If we compare the life of Muhammad slw before his mission as a prophet and his life after he began his missionas a prophet, we will conclude that it is beyond reason to think that Muhammad slw was a false prophet, who claimed prophethood to attain material gains, greatness, glory, or power. Before his mission as a prophet, Muhammad slw had no financial worries. As a successful and reputed merchant, Muhammad slw drew a satisfactory and comfortable income.  After his mission as aprophet and because of it, he became worse off materially. To clarify this more, let us browse the following sayings on his life:  Aa’isha (Radi Allahu Anha) Muhammad’s (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wasallam) wife, said, “O my nephew, we would sight three new moons in two months without lighting a fire (to cook a meal)in the Prophet’s houses.” Her nephew asked, “O Aunt, what sustained you?” She said, “The two black things, dates and water, but the Prophethad some Ansar neighbors who had milk-giving she-camels and t...

While reading Guru granthsahib,i found these verses....  Avil Alh nUru aupwieAw kudriq ky sBbMdy ] (1349-19)  aval alah noor upaa-i-aa ku d ra t kay sa bh ban d ay.  First, Allah created the Light; then, by His Creative Power, He made all mortal beings.  eyk nUr qy sBu jgu aupijAw kaun Blyko mMdy ]1] (1349-19)  ayk noor t ay sa bh jag upji-aa ka-unbh alay ko man d ay. ||1||  From the One Light, the entire universe welled up. So who is good, and who is bad? ||1||  source:  http://www.srigurugranth.org/1349.html   When we look at this verse the three Arabic words are very conspicuous Awal which means first, a Allah which the name of our deity and finally Noor which is another name of the Prophet(SalAlla ho alaihe wasallam). Sant Kabir went to the Hindu pandits and the Muslim Sufis to learn about religions. These verses can also be found in many books written by Sufis. Also you can quote this verse from the Hadith. Muslims also believe that we ...

Hijab in Hinduism and Christianity, in the light of sacred scriptures.

Hijab in Hinduism and Christianity, in the light of sacred scriptures. Often the concept of Hijab is misrepresented and misunderstood by a large number of people. It is believed that the commandment of Hijab is found only in the Islamic Scriptures. But, if we flip the pages of the sacred books of major religions, we find the commandment of Hijab is found there too. Fortunately this commandment is yet alive in Muslims and unfortunately the commandment of other scriptures is not known to the general public. Due to the lack of knowledge and self ego, many supported Hijab ban failing to realize that they are supporting the cause which is against Mother Mary, Mata Sita and various others. They give respect to these ladies but unfortunately when it comes to accepting their way their foot start shivering, ego comes in between, and hate overtakes. To remove the misunderstanding about the concept of Hijab, I will be giving few verses from various scriptures which will testify that hijab does...

The Sinners Among the Believers(muslims) Will Enter Paradise.

Every Muslim will enter paradise even he is sinner by thegrace and mercy of Allah Subhanahu Sala. "Allâh has promised to believers - men and women - Gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein[forever], and beautiful mansions in Gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allâh. That is the supreme felicity [or success]".(9:72) The sinner muslims after being punished in hell will be brought forth from Hell and will enter Paradise by means of intercession. Muslim reports from Abû Sa'îd that the Messenger of Allâh (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wasallam) said: "The people of Hell will remain there, never dying, and never living. But there are people who will enter Hell because of their sins, and will bekilled therein, so that they become like coals. Permission will be granted for intercession to be made, and they will be brought forth in groups and spread on rivers of Paradise, and it will be said, "O people of Paradise, pour water on t...

Non-Muslim scholars view about Imam Hussain Radi Allahu Anh

For the last fourteen hundred centuries, the battle of Karbala reflects the collision of the good versus the evil, the virtuous versus the wicked, right versus the wrong, and the collision of Imam Husain (the head of virtue) versus Yazid (the head of impiety). Edward G. Brown, the p rofessor of Arabic and oriental studies at the University of Cambridge, praises Imam Husain in these words: "… a reminder of the blood-stained field of Kerbela, where the grandsonof the Apostle of God fell at length, tortured by thirst and surrounded by the bodies of his murdered kinsmen, has been at anytime since then sufficient to evoke, even in the most lukewarm and heedless, the deepest emotions, the most frantic grief, and an exaltation of spirit before which pain, danger and death shrink to unconsidered trifles." [ A Literary History of Persia , London, 1919, p. 227] Mahatma Gandhi (Indian political and spiritual leader) writes: “I learned from Hussein how to achieve victory while being opp...
