Why i am sunni muslim and not a wahabi/salafi : difference 1 – Belief about Allah (Subhanahu Ta'ala) Sunni – Sunnis believe that Allah (Subhanahu Ta'ala)  does not resemble anything. If we compare the life of Muhammad slw before his mission as a prophet and his life after he began his missionas a prophet, we will conclude that it is beyond reason to think that Muhammad slw was a false prophet, who claimed prophethood to attain material gains, greatness, glory, or power.Before his mission as a prophet, Muhammad slw had no financial worries.
